Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?
In fact, every day in Australia, 9 people will die by suicide.
Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.
This October, I’ll be taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute, so that they can put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

Loading my impact...
This year marks my 4th year of walking as part of One Foot Forward & each year I'm blown away by the incredible achievements of walkers all over the country. At a time when we know more and more people are impacted by mental health and require access to a variety of supports, this is one way we can come together as a community to keep the conversations going and raise as much awareness, and funds, as possible. Sadly, there aren't many people who haven't been touched by their own mental health concerns or those of someone close to us, too many of us have faced the devastation of suicide, and at a time where we may feel helpless, this, walking together creates safe spaces to talk, to support and to find a way forward, pushing for better. My furry bestie Fonzie and I walk each year with hope in our hearts for a better future for all.
