My son travis lane huffstetler 1996-2023

Last year are started walking and hiking for Mental Heath awareness in memory of my son Travis Lane Huffstetler in Louisiana USA. He was a beautiful child, son , brother and man. His mental health was a huge part ok his make up and as time went by more awarenes would have been good for myself and any others who cared and loved him. I hope this journey is another enlighting journey to my own mental health as we give tribute to my sons life which had great value. For Americans for Australians for the youth and their parents. I hope this can be a small step forward to educate and recognise mental health and true suicide awareness for all who put forth the efforts to change and learn.

Support Our Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?

In fact, every day in Australia, 9 people will die by suicide.

Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.

This October, our team will be taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.

We’re walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute, so that they can put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support our walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
