Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?

In fact, every day in Australia, 9 people will die by suicide.

Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.

This October, I’ll be taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute, so that they can put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

Melbourne Marathon

Another 42.2km into the OFF bank & another couple of generous donations from our awesome supporters.

Grade 5 hike/run in the Dandenongs

As we all know I get a little carried away with the goals I set myself so I thought it would be a super great idea to go for a Grade 5 rated 15.5km hike (with some running) in the Dandenong Ranges. It was a beautiful but brutal track. Also was good prep for the rollercoaster run in a few weeks but very bad tapering for a marathon next weekend! 😂

just a quick trot around Sydney as part of training for OFF!!

City2surf as training!

On Sunday several of our OFF team members also completed the city2surf raising $1538 for the BDI as part of preparation for this years OFF.. I’m super pleased as an OG OFF participant that I’ve already reached my fundraising target (this is my 3rd fundraising event for BDI this year so I kept to a lower target) & we are only $50 away from our team goal. Looks like we are amassing a few in the duckies crew this year too which is super exciting with some first timers & familiar faces alike. Let’s do this 🦆🦆🦆
