Our community is putting One Foot Forward for Mental Safety
October is a very important month for our community.
Its Mental Health month, where individuals are encouraged to think about mental health and wellbeing.
It’s also National Safe Work month, a time to commit to building a safe and healthy workplace.
This October, the Safety Mate community are combining both of these national concepts and will be ‘Putting One Foot Forward for Mental Safety’ by participating in One Foot Forward. We are advocating for better mental health in workplaces, and our community.
Only half of employees in Australia think that their workplace is mentally healthy, and our community hopes to support Black Dog Institute change these statistics at scale.
We are aiming to raise vital funds for BDI, so they can put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to us if you donated to support our walk.
Thank you for helping us put One Foot Forward towards mental safety.
