Support My Run for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year? In fact, every day in Australia, 9 people will die by suicide.
This October for Mental Health Month, I’m running 80km in memory of my colleague and friend Sam, who we tragically lost earlier this year.
Sam was the light in every room, the kindest soul, and a true larkin who loved making people happy. One of my favourite memories of Sam is from the first time we met. I got my car stuck in a snowstorm, and Sam came to my rescue, and he never let me forget the fact ‘Safety Steph’ is not very safe! He is truly missed everyday by those blessed to have known him; I wish I could tell him one more time to do up his bloody work boots!
Your donations will help bring crucial mental health treatment, education and digital services to those that need it the most. Any size donation is greatly appreciated and will make a significant impact. This was a cause close to Sam’s heart.
